City of Lynd – Garbage Rate Adjustment Notice
As part of our continued commitment to providing reliable and efficient waste collection services for our community, the City of Lynd will be implementing an adjustment to garbage collection rates, effective December 15, 2025. This modest increase reflects rising service costs and helps ensure we can continue to provide consistent, dependable service to all residents.
Updated Garbage Rates (Effective December 15, 2025)
The revised monthly residential cart rates will be as follows:
- 35-gallon cart: $11.00 (Previously $10.00)
- 65-gallon cart: $14.00 (Previously $12.00)
- 95-gallon cart: $16.00 (Previously $14.00)
These changes are being made in response to increased operational and service costs from our sanitation provider. The City strives to keep rates as affordable as possible while maintaining a reliable and effective waste collection system for all households.
We understand that any increase in expenses can be inconvenient, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain essential services for our community.
